🍵 A New Way to Steep

Loose leaf tea, brewed properly, anywhere you go. Load your leaves, pour your water, and stop the steep the moment it tastes right. Two separate chambers keep tea and water apart — tip the infuser to brew, turn it upright, and the stainless steel filter drains the water back down while the leaves stay behind. Your tea stops brewing when you decide, not when it turns bitter, and the clear glass lets you watch the color develop so you can pull it at exactly the right moment — something a tightly-packed mesh ball, which you have to physically fish out, can't do.

📐 Choose Your Size

  • 280 mL (about 9.5 oz) — a single proper cup. Compact enough for a desk or small bag.
  • 350 mL (about 12 oz) — the everyday size, roughly a large mug.
  • 500 mL (about 17 oz) — for long days, long commutes, and fewer refills.

🧊 What It's Made Of

Double-walled glass body with a stainless steel collar and filter. The sealed air layer between the glass walls keeps your tea hot and the outside comfortable to hold — no sweating, no rings on your desk.

🧼 Care

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap; rinse leaves out soon after brewing. Avoid steel wool or abrasive pads, which can scratch the glass. Let all parts dry fully before reassembling and store unsealed. Please do not put it in the dishwasher — the heat cycle is hard on double-walled glass.

⚠️ Safety Notice: This product is made of glass and is therefore susceptible to breaks when used improperly. Please always ensure that you are not subjecting the infuser to extreme temperature changes, nor extreme temperatures in general. Additionally, always ensure that there is not an excess of pressure built within the infuser itself. The easiest way to prevent this is by waiting a couple minutes after pouring in hot water to screw the infuser together. Finally, do not subject the infuser to drops or heavy impacts, as this can stress the glass and other components leading to immediate or delayed failures.

⚠️ Safe Use Guide

Please read this before your first brew. Every point below exists because glass and near-boiling water are a combination that deserves respect.

Filling

  • Never fill above the base of the glass threads. Overfilling pushes water past the seal when you tip the infuser and puts pressure on the joint. Leave clear space below the threads.
  • Let boiling water stand for about 30 seconds before pouring. Water straight off a rolling boil is the most common cause of thermal shock in glassware.
  • Pour slowly, into the centre, and never onto the base or the walls in a single hot stream.

Sealing

  • Wait one to two minutes after pouring hot water into the body before screwing the halves together. Sealing immediately traps steam, and trapped steam becomes pressure. This is one of the most common causes of failure, as very hot water evaporates quick and can lead to immense pressure, which can eventually violently shatter the inner chamber wall of the infuser.
  • Tighten until it seats. Do not force it or over-tighten it.

Opening

  • Unscrew slowly, and keep the gap between components pointed away from your face and body. This infuser may release built-up pressure when opened, and the steam that escapes may in rare cases be hot enough to scald.

Temperature

  • Always use extreme caution when handling hot liquids with the infuser. Be incredibly cautious transferring hot liquids in and out of the infuser, as any form of bodily contact with such liquids can easily burn at high enough temperatures. Furthermore, be mindful of the temperature of the infuser itself (the body features double walled glass to provide insulation, but the other two components do not), as hot water within can heat it up to temperatures that may burn to the touch. In these cases utilize protection such as kitchen gloves or wait for it to cool down until it is safe to handle with bare hands.
  • Never use in a microwave, oven, freezer, or on a stovetop. Never place it on or near an open flame or a hot burner.
  • Never pour hot water into a cold infuser, or cold water into a hot one. Let it return to room temperature in between. Sudden temperature change is what cracks glass.
  • Do not set a hot infuser directly onto a cold stone, tile, or metal surface.
  • Not dishwasher safe.

Handling

  • Set it down gently, especially on stone, tile, or metal. Impact at the base is one of the most common causes of cracking, and the damage is not always visible right away.
  • Stop using it immediately if you find any chip, crack, or scratch anywhere on the glass — even a small one, and even if it still holds water. In a case like this please cease use rather than continue to use it.
  • Do not carry it by the upper chamber alone. Support the body.
  • Keep out of reach of children. This is not a children's product.
